Forte, the startup that accelerates and enhances the work of professionals in the audio and music production and post-production industry through AI, has closed a €320,000 equity pre-seed round.
The operation was led by 40Jemz Ventures, with the participation of leading innovation players such as B4i Fund and AFP Capital.
With the capital raised, Forte aims to accelerate its growth, expand its team, and further develop its technology, which already today saves valuable time for audio and music professionals, allowing them to focus on creativity.
Conceived during the GrandUP! Tech Academy 2022-2023 program and currently supported by the I3P incubator, Forte was founded in May 2024 in Saluzzo (Cuneo) by Loris Comba (CEO), Simone Lovera (CPO), and Ronaldo Zefi (CTO). The team also benefits from the involvement of Riccardo Damian, a Grammy Award winning producer who has worked with artists such as Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, and Jorja Smith, serving as Advisor and Ambassador.
Loris Comba, CEO of Forte, explained that the company was born into an industry where too many tedious, repetitive, and easily automatable tasks are still done manually, particularly in preparing tracks for mixing. The idea, he said, came from the team's experience in the sector and a determination to change that working method into something more efficient, faster, and more enjoyable. He added that the team saw a major opportunity from the start, and that connecting with 40Jemz Ventures, who believed in them and wanted to invest, confirmed the effort had been worthwhile, with the support of 40Jemz alongside B4i and AFP Capital now letting the company grow significantly.
Michele Padovani, Managing Partner at 40Jemz Ventures, said they were excited to back a team that impressed them from day one with an outstanding combination of technical expertise and business acumen, bringing a vertical solution to a market still too anchored to analog methods.
